Record of Experiment 485560106 (part 1)

This is a record of the city experiment labeled 485560106. This record is written based on city surveillance video and sound recordings and on interviews with several of the subjects. The outline of experiment 485560106 is that it is set in a large city that was built by The Company and it's subjects are those who signed agreements that they and their descendants for at least five generations would inhabit the city and never leave it for any reason short of natural disaster or nuclear fallout. The subjects also agreed that they and their descendants would wear experiment 5472 on their left wrists from the age of five until it falls off on its own. The subjects were recruited from all over the world and from all walks of life and taught a common language by the result of experiment 7549 (which finally succeeded last year and which has the only failure of having to create a new language in order to teach it any faster than normal methods and so is practically useless in real world applications). The purpose of the experiment is to determine the effects on society caused by widespread use of experiment 5472 (an experimental clock which has the ability to predict the exact time a person will meet their 'Soul-Mate' and counts down to it and then falls off when it reaches zero). The purpose of this record is to study the subjects' reactions to meeting their 'Soul-Mate' and to record any unusual happenings with experiment 5472 so as to fully understand both experiment 5472 and the social implications of widespread use of it.
